Live a Value-Centered Life with Mindful Self-Compassion
The problems of today are often caused by the lived experiences of the past. Whether you’re struggling with depression, anxiety, or trauma-related difficulties, these problems can become overwhelming. Sometimes, this leads us to behaviors that are potentially harmful or destructive.
While we cannot change what has happened in the past, I believe that we can discover new meaning from our experiences. We can direct our path forward, utilizing our strengths, embracing who we want to be, and living a fulfilling life that reflects our values. My belief is that this is what brings a sense of contentment and happiness in life.
As a licensed psychotherapist specializing in addiction counseling (MPS, LPCC, LADC), I specialize in evidence-based treatments for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Together, we’ll use trauma-informed therapy techniques, narrative therapy, and mindful self-compassion to help find the solution to the problems you’re facing today. I believe that this solution is already inside of you — we just need to do the work of uncovering it.
“The person is not the problem. The problem is the problem.”
— Michael White, founder of Narrative Therapy
